In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of leading air travel apps on the Android platform in Nigeria showcased varied trends in downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Wakanow: Flights, Hotels, Cars experienced a consistent download rate with a peak of approximately 14.3K in mid-November. The app maintained a strong user base, with active users increasing from 177K to almost 190K by the end of December.

Qatar Airways saw a significant rise in downloads towards the end of the quarter, reaching over 11.7K in the final week. Active users also climbed steadily, starting from 12.8K and ending the year at nearly 29.7K.

Ethiopian Airlines showed a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 2.9K in the last week of December. The app's active users grew from 8.7K to 10.8K over the quarter.

Air Peace had a modest download trend, with a notable rise to over 1K downloads in the final week of December.
